I helped co-found ART140, a social-media initiative with one objective: to enable all people, from all walks of life, to express what specific works of art mean to them.
We partnered with MoMA and, together, we selected works of art.
Then we asked people to interpret it in 140 characters on Twitter. The brevity of a tweet encourages contributors to pare down their interpretations to the very core.
The initiative garnered quite a lot of press, from Adweek to PSFK to Digiday—even from Le Monde.
